Consulting possibilities with SAM

Locomotor system

Lameness

If your animal is acutely lame, we can assess individually and help you to identify possible external triggers (e.g. bunion wound, torn off claw, foreign body entered, etc.) If other triggers are the reason for the lameness, we can help you to assess if a visit to the vet is urgent.

In case of chronic lameness, we will gladly advise you on alternative treatment methods (e.g. phytotherapy).

If your animal is only walking on three legs you should go to a vet immediately. In this case we can advise you where to find a suitable veterinary practice in your area and how best to care for your animal until then.

Tip: Here you should record a video that shows the lameness as good as possible, so that our veterinarians can better judge which causes cause the lameness.
